Bladefire

Empower

Syntax:
EMPOWER [<weapon>|LEFT|RIGHT] WITH <power>

This ability allows you to empower your weapons to engender certain effects.

Combinations

This passive ability causes some of your empowerments to have additional or more powerful effects when combined with others.

Cleanse

Syntax:
CLEANSE <weapon>

This ability will remove all empowerments from a weapon.

Crescent

Syntax:
BLADE RELEASE [LEFT|RIGHT|<weapon>] CRESCENT <target>

While using your weapon to strike your opponent, it will slowly gather magical energy. Once enough has been stored, you may release this energy in a magical strike. This will use up the charge of whichever wielded weapon you specify (either left, right or by number). If not specified, it will use up the charge of your left-handed weapon by default. Should you be using a two-handed weapon, you do not need to specify which weapon to use.

Charge

Syntax:
BLADE CHARGE [<weapon>|LEFT|RIGHT]

This ability works passively to energize your weaponry whenever you strike another person.

Blastwave

Syntax:
BLADE RELEASE [LEFT|RIGHT|<weapon>] BLASTWAVE

This ability will release your weapon's charge in a fiery explosion, damaging everyone within the same location as you. Your protected ally will be immune to its effects.

Iceblast

Syntax:
BLADE RELEASE [LEFT|RIGHT|<weapon>] ICEBLAST <target>

This ability will use the charge within your weapon to freeze your opponent.

Lightning

Syntax:
BLADE RELEASE [LEFT|RIGHT|<weapon>] LIGHTNING <target>

This ability causes your target to be struck by lightning. Usable only while outdoors, there is a delay on how long it takes the lightning to strike - based on your weapon's charge level.

Penance

Syntax:
PENANCE <target>

Usable only once every 5 minutes, this powerful ability will impose a Penance upon your target. Should your foe be close to death, the imposed Penance will cause your attack to do increased damage - killing them and leaving no corpse behind.

Bladefury

Syntax:
BLADEFURY [ON|OFF]

While enabled, this ability will half the natural drain of your charged weapons over time, allowing you to build and maintain them easier.

Empowerments

Sacrifice

When a weapon empowered with sacrifice strikes your target, it will drain a portion of your health and then deal damage to your target based on the amount drained.

Disrupt

A weapon empowered with disrupt will disrupt the balances of those it strikes. Should your target not have any disrupted balances, it will disrupt their mental balance, increasing the time it takes for them to writhe from transfixion, as well as increasing how long it takes them to recover their ability to focus. Should your target's mental balance be disrupted, it will disrupt their physical balance, increasing the time it takes them to writhe from entanglements.

Flare

While a person if afflicted with flare, many states of invisibility will be rendered useless. There is a short immunity period once the flare wears off.

Trauma

A weapon empowered with trauma will do far more damage to your target's limbs, should you be attacking them.

Numbing

This power will numb the nerves and muscles in the limbs your weapons strike. Should you strike their arms, this will cause them to cease wielding any items. Should both of their legs be numbed, they will fall to the ground.

Combustion

A weapon empowered with combustion will burn away your target's mana.

Resonance

This power will allow you to use the following abilities on whomever you have afflicted with it, without causing you to lose balance or equilibrium:

- Assess
- Contemplate
- Gauge

To utilize this power, use the following syntax: RESONANCE <target> <DIAGNOSE|ASSESS|CONTEMPLATE|GAUGE WILLPOWER/MANA>

Burst

A weapon empowered with burst will store energy within your target for a short period of time. After this time has expired, the energy will burst outwards, attacking their mind. Should they be struck again with the burst power before it explodes, the burst will cover a larger radius - striking all those who are in the same room as the target. Your protected ally will be immune from any collateral effects.

Stun

A weapon empowered with stun will unleash a burst of energy when it strikes, stunning your target. This effect can be combined with a second stage Burst in order to cause an additional delayed room-wide stun. Your protected ally will be immune to any collateral effects.

Destruction

This power will strip a random defence from your target, however it will only affect them once every three seconds. This effect can be combined with a second stage Burst in order to cause an additional delayed room-wide strip. Your protected ally will be immune from any collateral effects.

Conviction

A weapon empowered with conviction will leave an aura upon the target, causing your attacks to fall upon them stronger. Should you strike a target with the conviction power while they are still affected by the aura, they will begin to hate you.

Retribution

Should your opponent be suffering from disrupted mental and physical balance, have their body crippled and be suffering your conviction, this power will kill them instantly.

Hemorrhage

This ability will deal damage to your target based on how much they are bleeding when you strike.
