Each guild has 20 guild ranks. You advance through the guild ranks by being guildfavoured by your fellow guildsmen. When you have gained the privilege, you may GUILDFAVOUR <guild member> and GUILDDISFAVOUR <guild member>. These are important responsibilities, and guilddisfavour especially should be used only when called for.


Guildfavors increase the rank of the person favored. The size of the increase is based upon the guildrank of the person giving the favor.


The reverse of this is the guild-disfavor, which acts like a guildfavor but reduces the person's rank. It is also based upon the guild rank of the person giving the disfavor.
