In 419 MA, Omei attempted to take the mortal Cannan as a new vessel. Holding the possession as a ceremony in Tecpatl's Cradle, She filled his body and urged him to slay his companions and other onlookers as a blood sacrifice. Though he was able to expend Her power as if it were his own, his body and will were unable to accommodate the Goddess, and he was killed, expelling Omei in the process.
Intruders in the tomb-tower
Later that year, a pair of Lycanthropic treasure hunters, Eiger and Early Sindele, manned an expedition with numerous Aetolians to pry open the tower in Tecpatl's Cradle with the barely-concealed intention of robbing it. Bypassing a series of bronze hatches, the group made their way to the top of the tower, where they found Omei's essence swirling in a void. Omei pleaded with the group to leave Her alone and let Her die, but Eiger, motivated by greed, tried to ransack the room, and was killed by the Goddess.
Omei's essence streamed into the werewolf on contact, instilling it and forming a new vessel. This event marks a paradigm shift for Omei, who uses the honorific of Beast Queen from this point forward.

Omei, the Imago, is the Goddess who governs the realm of dreams. She is said to have given the mortal races their emotions, effectively making them more than mere animals. In the guise of a great werewolf, She considers Herself the patron Goddess of all shapeshifters.

Mortals whisper of Omei's dominance over the Dreamworld, the slumbering kingdom beyond the veil of sleep that is Her playground. The architect of both tantalizing wonderlands and terrifying nightmares, She draws Her chosen - beloved and victim alike - into Her domain, dredging up their deepest desires and darkest fears, forcing Her followers to face what lurks in the corners of their own minds. In the cold, harsh light of the Dreamworld, hidden hopes become tangible, the path to achieving them laid bare, while lurking terrors take on physical forms for followers to battle and overcome, lest they succumb to their own nightmares.

Her path is one for the bravest, for those unafraid of the darkness within their own minds, and it was precisely this harsh, demanding aspect that placed Her in high regard by the Rajamalas of which She holds a special affinity for. Warriors and artists, politicians and poets, all are loved by Her, so long as they embrace the chaotic, creative lands She is Queen of - for that reason, the Undead are anathema, for their very nature is a slumberless, dreamless one, and She reviles them for shunning Her gift.

Her symbols are a moth and the moon.
