Sven's Shop in Delos

He had been to the mainland once before, to aid Oorangu in casting a spell to protect the forests, but he had never ventured much further than the beach upon which he had landed. Sven picked his way carefully to the highway, hoping to finally meet the famous Vinci. He was, afterall, a scholar of tattoos, and he hoped to find knowledge of the art somewhere on the continent of Sapience.

A young knight outside of Shallam pointed Sven towards Delos, and he began the trip north. Upon the Delosian bridge he came across Mat Shinta'moryu-Corey, who informed him of Vinci's death. A bit shaken, Sven followed Mat to the artist's former shop, where he lingered for a short while attempting to glean insight into the craft of tattooing.

When he had learned all that he could, Sven returned to the Delosian bridge. Unsure about taking up residence in the bustling little city of Delos, he began to think of other options. He had decided to look into Shastaan when Tria happened along. With her kind words and aid, Sven made it back to the village of Shastaan. Together they met with Shanugis, who granted Sven residence. Shanugis sent a servant ahead to set up Sven's new shop, and when Sven and Tria finally found it the place seemed to be well in order.

Soon the word had spread, and many curious individuals came to visit the grook in his new home and workshop. Even after most of the onlookers had returned to their daily business, Tria, Ehlana and Rawyn remained, chatting until the following day. Quite happy with his accomplishments, Sven settled down to work, and began his new career as the tattoo artist of Sapience.

Firefly
Syntax:	TOUCH FIREFLY
Description:	Commodities: 1 Yellow Ink This is a simple tattoo. Touching it will cause it to give off light for a time.

Feather
Syntax:	TOUCH FEATHER
Description:	Commodities: 2 Blue Inks, 1 Red Ink Upon touching this tattoo, you will begin levitating, and thus be immune from falling damage.

Shield
Syntax:	TOUCH SHIELD
Description:	Commodities: 2 Red Inks, 1 Green Ink Possibly the single most useful tattoo, using the shield will cause you to be immune from many attacks. Committing any aggressive act, or moving, will cause your shield to be dispelled.

Mindseye
Syntax:	TOUCH MINDSEYE
Description:	Commodities: 2 Blue Inks, 1 Green Ink This will allow you to see and hear most things while deaf and blind.

Hammer
Syntax:	TOUCH HAMMER <player>
Description:	Commodities: 2 Red Inks, 1 Purple Ink The hammer has a single purpose in life: to smash the magical shields of your opponents.

Cloak
Syntax:	TOUCH CLOAK
Description:	Commodities: 3 Blue Inks Touching the cloak tattoo will conjure up a mystical cloak that will serve to protect you from being summoned.

Mindseye
Syntax:	TOUCH MINDSEYE
Description:	Commodities: 2 Blue Inks, 1 Green Ink This will allow you to see and hear most things while deaf and blind.

Bell
Syntax:	TOUCH BELL
Description:	Commodities: 3 Blue Inks, 2 Red Ink Upon touching this tattoo, you will be informed if you are being spied on in many ways.

Left Leg

Description:	Passive ability. You may have two tattoos on your left leg.

Crystal
Syntax:	TOUCH CRYSTAL
Description:	Commodities: 1 Blue Ink, 1 Green Ink, 1 Purple Ink This powerful tattoo will heal your health completely, but it may be used only once per Aetolian day.

Moon
Syntax:	TOUCH MOON (to activate)
Description:	Commodities: 1 Blue Ink, 1 Red Ink, 1 Yellow Ink This is a tattoo that will work automatically. When you have it inscribed upon you, it will automatically heal your mana anytime you have less than full mana. Each time it works, there is a small chance of the tattoo fading. Using this tattoo will take balance.

Starburst
Syntax:	TOUCH STARBURST
Description:	Commodities: 1 Blue Ink This tattoo will work automatically upon your death, once you have touched it. It will resurrect you immediately, and cause you to lose only half the normal amount of experience that you would lose from a death.

Boar
Syntax:	TOUCH BOAR (to activate)
Description:	Commodities: 2 Red Inks, 1 Purple Ink The Boar: a noble, proud, and strong creature, the boar tattoo will automatically heal your health when you are hurt. Each time it works, there is a slight chance of it fading. Using this tattoo will take balance, but once touched, it will work automatically from then on.

Right Leg

Description:	Passive ability. You may have two tattoos on your right leg.

Web
Syntax:	TOUCH WEB <target>
Description:	Commodities: 1 Green Ink, 1 Yellow Ink The web tattoo allows you to cast a sticky web over your opponent, entrapping him or her until he or she WRITHEs out.

Tentacle
Syntax:	TOUCH TENTACLE <player>
Description:	Commodities: 2 Green Inks, 1 Purple Ink This fearsome tattoo will call the tentacles of the feared Shimite from the bowels of the earth, to drag your foe from the sky or from the trees.

Hourglass
Syntax:	TOUCH HOURGLASS <player>
Description:	Commodities: 2 Yellow Inks, 1 Blue Ink The hourglass tattoo, when used on another player, will cause him to fall into a deep sleep, from which waking will be difficult.

Owl
Syntax:	TOUCH OWL
Description:	Commodities: 2 Red Inks, 1 Blue Ink, 1 Purple Ink The Owl: Through wisdom, discover your will. The owl tattoo will automatically restore your willpower over time. While it works, there is a slight chance of it fading. Using this tattoo will take balance, but once touched, it will work automatically from then on.

Brazier
Syntax:	TOUCH BRAZIER<player>
Description:	Commodities: 2 Yellow Inks, 2 Red Inks The brazier tattoo allows you to invoke and summon another player, providing he or she does not have a cloak of protection. It has a range that is limited to the local area.

Left Arm

Description:	Passive ability. You may have two tattoos on your left arm.

Prism
Syntax:	TOUCH PRISM <player>
Description:	Commodities: 1 Red Ink, 1 Blue Ink, 1 Yellow Ink, 1 Green Ink, 1 Purple Ink The prism tattoo may be used to transport yourself across long distances. After touching it, a plane of prismatic light will shoot out and, a handful of seconds later, put you into the room with your target. If the target moves in the meantime, or if you do anything, the spell will be ruined.

Tree
Syntax:	TOUCH TREE
Description:	Commodities: 5 Green Inks The Tree of Life is a powerful tattoo, capable of healing nearly any affliction. It will, however, leave you too weak to use it again for a bit.

Right Arm

Description:	Passive ability. You may have two tattoos on your right arm.

Mountain
Syntax:	TOUCH MOUNTAIN
Description:	Commodities: 1 Green Ink, 1 Blue Ink, and 1 Gold Ink The Mountain: pillar of strength and endurance through time. The mountain tattoo will automatically restore your endurance when you are fatigued. Each time it works, there is a slight chance of it fading. Using this tattoo will take balance, but once touched, it will work automatically from then on.

Chameleon
Syntax:	TOUCH CHAMELON <player>
Description:	Commodities: 1 Gold Ink, 1 Purple Ink, 1 Yellow ink Using this tattoo, you may assume the identity, on the 'who' list, of any other mortal, whether logged in or not. Simply touch it again, with your name as the target, to resume your normal appearance.

Torso

Description:	Passive ability. You may have two tattoos on your torso.

Head

Description:	Passive ability. You may have two tattoos on your head.

Description:	Cost: 20,000gp The book tattoo will allow you to gain experience at an increased rate while active. This tattoo is only available from Sven, the tattooist in Delos.

Flame
Syntax:	TOUCH FLAME
Description:	Cost: 750gp When activated, it will protect you one time only against a variety of binding abilities, such as the Web tattoo. This tattoo is only available from Sven, the tattooist in Delos.
