Master Crystal

There are two known Master Crystals. One is the unexpected result of attempting to enchant with a person inside a double ouroboros. The other is of unknown origin. They are protected by the Sciomancer and Ascendril guilds respectively.

A Master Crystal is the source of all crystals used in Crystalism which are gathered through the ability: refine.

Crystalism - Refine

Syntax:

  REFINE <amount> <shape>

This ability must be done in the presence of the Master Crystal. It will refine one of the possible crystal shapes from the Master, reducing the Master Crystal by one facet per crystal refined. When using this ability, you may refine up to 10 crystals at a time.

Possible shapes are:

Pyramid Torus Pentagon Cylinder Cube Diamond Sphere Polyhedron Spiral Egg Disc

In order to replenish the facets of the Master Crystal, you must find pearls, and FOLD PEARL INTO <crystal>.

Each pearl adds seven new facets to the Master Crystal.

The guilds tend to take pride in the strength of their Master Crystal which is measured by the number of facets it has.
