Lore and History
Delos is an island city, as old as any other civilization in Sapience. Occupied by merchants, traders, cartels, and the Guild Administration, it has long stood as a neutral ground, where all walks of life can pursue profit and free enterprise without the burden of nationalistic ties.
The city itself is built atop one of the largest islands on the continent, and dates back to the Second Mortal Epoch.
Noteworthy Locations and Features
The Fields of Valor
The first Sapient Arena was the historic Fields of Valor, a ceremonial battleground where warriors, past, present and future, compete in training exercises, bloodsport, and even Divine-sanctioned wargames. The arena is immense, taking up much of the central mass of the city, and comprises a diverse collection of terrain types and strategic features.
The Ankyrean Artifact Shop
Under the proprietorship of Qeddwyn, the last Ankyrean, the Ankyrean Artifact Shop is a shopping hub for artifacts, the magical Ankyrean armaments. Players may spend their hard-earned credits here to purchase permanent upgrades and enhancements.
The Slavers' Den
Hidden in the twisting alleyways of Delos is the Slavers' Den, where the notorious Slavers Guild operates, hidden from the public eye. The Den is an extremely dangerous place, filled with very high-level, aggressive mobiles.
