Molik

Molik was the official Registrar of the city of Shallam during the reign of Sultan Petureceh. He concealed the results of a referendum to rename the city in honor of the Sultan's child, Shallai, who had died during a mysterious plague. The referendum showed that citizens wanted to name the city Enorian, but members of the government, indebted to Petureceh, modified the results to show that the citizenry had chosen Shallam instead. When Hwenua, a Vizier at the time, exposed this conspiracy, Molik was suspiciously found dead in the docks of the city.
