The Garden of the Gods was the original home of the divinity of Aetolia and the site of the Pillars of Heaven.
It was Khepri, Goddess of Mischief, who began the conflict that would lead to the destruction of the Garden. In the year 100 MA, She struck first at Rahn, whose counterattack was interrupted by violent lightning summoned by Severn. Unfortunately, the Manipulator's attack started a conflagration amidst the Tree of Life which sheltered the Garden, and soon flaming branches and limbs fell from the Tree to set alight the Garden.
Varian was inexplicably unconcerned by this, simply commanding the rest of the Pantheon to construct Themselves a new home.
