Following the bombing of the Aalen forest by Dreikathi warships and an attempt by the Hunter to purge the forest of the foul sludge infesting it, strange fungal growths emerged from the earth and vomited infectious spores into the air. This contagion took many lives and forced a quarantine on the forest, and was eventually cured by the timely discovery of a sarcophagus under the desert temple of the Ultraist.
