__NOTOC__Rumoured to be torn from the mighty cats of the jungles, the tiger-like Rajamala hail from the village of Saluria in the midst of the vast Itzatl Rainforest. A powerful mix of lithe forms and keen intellect, the race has a rich heritage, with ancient temples found in the depths of the jungles surrounding their homeland and songs and mythologies about their ancient heroes told across the land. Physically, Rajamala are humanoid in shape with tiger-like details, covered in a coat of smooth, short fur, with distinctly feline features. Rajamala are typically orange or red with black stripes, but variations in color are common.

The tiger-like Rajamala are known for their fierce temperament and wild origins. Their short orange fur keeps them warm in most environments just as their feline eyes allow them to see in even blackest night. While their lithe forms trade power for dexterity, their intelligence and curiosity are not limited by any means. From deep within the [[Itzatl]] Rainforest, the Rajamalan people bring their primal strength into the Midnight Age.

The Rajamala hail from the Itzatl Rainforest, descendants of the empire of Farsai - the once-great regime was destroyed by the Dark Empire, internal corruption, and the malign power of Ati, spawn of the Shadow Mother. Most Rajamala are descended from immigrants into other parts of the continent, or from natives of the village of Saluria, the last indigenous settlement of Rajamala in the Itzatl. The race are born hunters, runners, and experimenters, and suffer in the world at large from a host of negative stereotypes - they are often considered lecherous and unintelligent, or compared unfavorably to housecats. As Human-like felines, they closest resemble bipedal tigers. Their eyes are bifurcated, and their fur ranges in hue and patterns - sometimes purest black, sometimes white, but most frequently tawny, red, and brown dashed with dark streaks.
