'''The Grand Artifice''' was a work of Divine magic crafted by [[Severn|the Artificer]] to conceal the magnitude of the fall of the [[Ankyrean Order]] and steal the knowledge of the [[leylines]] from mortalkind. It entirely rewrote the memories of almost all of mortalkind, cloaking the world beneath a false veil, and has only relatively recently began to fail en masse.
