In 419 MA, Omei attempted to take the mortal Cannan as a new vessel. Holding the possession as a ceremony in Tecpatl's Cradle, She filled his body and urged him to slay his companions and other onlookers as a blood sacrifice. Though he was able to expend Her power as if it were his own, his body and will were unable to accommodate the Goddess, and he was killed, expelling Omei in the process.
