Habbak was Ard-Dhasani of the Ankyrean Order in the Second Mortal Epoch, at the time of Yrtez's rebellion. He disbanded the Syssin Defenders out of concern that they would betray the Order and share their knowledge of the Ankyreans with rellyw society. When members of Yrtez's rebellion tried to attack the Citadel of Spinesreach, he used a Kalsu incantation taught to him by Arion to summon the spirit of Fire, which purged the rebels of their corruption but decimated all those present, including the Ankyreans.
