The Gods in Aetolia are powerful, enigmatic beings. Their existence cannot be denied and you are well-advised to pay Them the respect They are due. Their purposes and goals are Their own and differ dramatically from God to God.

Though almost all the Gods were created by Varian, the Celestine, or by processes ultimately set in motion by Him, He imbued Them with such power that for all practical purposes, there is no distinction between Them in power when viewed from a mortal perspective.

Some of the Gods whom you might encounter in Aetolia are:

Arion, the Truthseeker Auresae, Goddess of Fire
Dhar, the Underking Galleus, the Voidseer
Haern, the Hunter Iosyne, the Muse
Ivoln, the Earthen Lord Lleis, Goddess of Renewal
Niuri, the Preceptor Omei, the Dreamer
Severn, the Manipulator Slyphe, the Maelstrom
Varian the Celestine Chakrasul, Child of Twilight
Maghak, the Sovereign

Other Gods from the past, who have departed the realms or been changed entirely in some way include:

Lanos, Lord of Truth Rahn, God of Fire
Ysmali, the Sanguine Dhaivol, the Underking
Khepri, the Seething Chaos Belakai, the Shaper
