This is a comprehensive list of changes and updates made to the game since its inception, listed chronologically. As this list is quite cumbersome, it should be used for quick reference. It is recommended to use the Search feature for information on specific game concepts.

  • Fixed SkillIcon.png[Strangle] not gaining a damage increase due to thorn stacks.
  • Overgrowths are now cleared on death.

  • Fixed in-room traps not firing on non-directional movement such as elevation changes.

  • Fixed a bug with Dhuriv damage not being modified by the attack type.
  • Fixed SkillIcon.png[Lifesap] triggering twice on Dhuriv attacks.

Dhuriv

  • SkillIcon.png[Ambush] and SkillIcon.png[Drive] can now deliver venoms.
  • Increased the damage modifers on SkillIcon.png[Drive] and SkillIcon.png[Ambush] to 85%, up from 65%.
  • Increased the damage modifers on SkillIcon.png[Crosscut] and SkillIcon.png[Strike] to 75%, up from 65%.
  • Increased SkillIcon.png[Crosscut] torso damage to match SkillIcon.png[Slash].
  • SkillIcon.png[Blind] balance time has been decreased to 1.80 seconds, down from 2.75.
  • SkillIcon.png[Crosscut] balance time decreased to 2.25 seconds, down from 2.75.
  • SkillIcon.png[Twirl] balance time decreased to 2.40 seconds, down from 2.75.
  • SkillIcon.png[Strike] balance time decreased to 3 seconds, down from 3.5.
  • SkillIcon.png[Splice] balance time decreased to 2.50, down from 2.75.
  • SkillIcon.png[Ambush] balance time decreased to 2.40, down from 2.75.

  • SkillIcon.png[Ambush] will now pierce through rebounding, stripping it.

Woodlore

  • Lowered dodge chance on SkillIcon.png[Smokescreen] from 50% to 40%.
  • SkillIcon.png[Smokescreen] now allows the Sentinel to ignore avoidance cooldowns.
  • Increased the amount of damage caused by SkillIcon.png[Spike].
  • Armor now has a slight effect on SkillIcon.png[Spike].
  • SkillIcon.png[Darts] firing speed increased from 3.5 seconds to 3 seconds.
  • SkillIcon.png[Snare] now prevents movement from completing when triggered.
  • Re-added SkillIcon.png[Barkskin], but it has been dropped to 15%, down from 18%.
  • Moved SkillIcon.png[Lifesap] up the skill tree to take the position of SkillIcon.png[Attunement].

November 2nd, 2012

  • The cooldown for dodging all attacks (except melee) is now 2 seconds (down from 6).
  • SkillIcon.png[Vorpal] now wakes up sleeping targets.
  • SkillIcon.png[Plague] proc time lowered to 8 seconds (down from 10).
  • SkillIcon.png[Lullaby] proc time lowered to 11 seconds (down from 13).
  • Devotion rites can no longer be laid while phased.
  • Removed SkillIcon.png[Quickfoot].
  • SkillIcon.png[Floorsweep] now requires balance.
  • SkillIcon.png[Floorsweep] can now only be used if involuntarily knocked to the floor.
  • SkillIcon.png[Hangedman] can no longer be used by dopplegangers.
  • SkillIcon.png[Abduct] is now prevented by shield and prismatic barrier.
  • The time to SkillIcon.png[Prism] to a monolithed room is now 9 seconds (down from 12).
  • SkillIcon.png[Mind Clamp] will now drain 20% of the target's health and mana, in addition to reducing maximum health and mana by 20%.
  • New skill: SkillIcon.png[Lifesap].
  • SkillIcon.png[Dragging] has been reworked, and now allows a Sentinel to drag a prone player, no longer requiring a mount or for the target to be impaled.
  • Removed SkillIcon.png[Barkskin].
  • Removed SkillIcon.png[Attunement].
  • SkillIcon.png[Campfire] now heals a small amount of health while set in a room.
  • New skill: SkillIcon.png[Smokescreen].
  • New skill: SkillIcon.png[Spike].
  • Changed trap mechanics.
    • There is now a in-room trap position which will trigger when a player enters the room from any direction.
    • Traps placed on exits now take up trap positions on both sides of that exit. In other words, you can't place traps back-to-back on a single exit anymore.
    • SkillIcon.png[Darts] and SkillIcon.png[Catapult] can now only placed on the in-room trap position, and can no longer be placed on exits.
  • SkillIcon.png[Dart] now lets you apply two venoms to it.
  • You can now set a SkillIcon.png[Catapult] to launch a player SKYWARDS.
  • You can now chain SkillIcon.png[Catapults] once more, however they can no longer loop.
  • Traps are now affected by afflictions such as Paranoia and Peace.
  • SkillIcon.png[Darts] will now consume darts if there is no valid target to hit.
  • SkillIcon.png[Darts] no longer fires immediately upon being triggered, however secondary effects like SkillIcon.png[Alarm] will still go off.
  • SkillIcon.png[Darts] firing speed increased from 4 seconds to 3.5 seconds.
  • SkillIcon.png[Noose] asphyxiation messages now have a third person message.
  • Added all applicable Shaman defenses to the defense stripping routine.

  • The text for SkillIcon.png[Shatter] has been changed to not display the limb twice. (Example: "You deal Clexx's right leg a mighty blow.")
  • The text for SkillIcon.png[Impale] has also changed similarly. (Example: "You slam into his braced spear with a scream of pain.")
